Wannabe is Kathy Coudle King's first novel. She has been writing plays for two decades. She holds a BFA in Dramatic Writing from N.Y.U.
and an M.A. in English from the U. of North Dakota where
she currently teaches writing, literature, and in the Women Studies
Department. Many of her plays were created while working
as the playwright-in-residence at the U. of North Dakota's
Women's Center. Several of the plays were performed for women's groups and conferences.
Kathy King is the mother of four children, and one scary kitty. She lives with her husband and children in Grand Forks, ND.
